The assessment and evaluation of currently specified solutions highlights areas on which to focus - are the correct materials and suppliers used, can cost savings be made, energy consumption reduced? Information is gathered through site visits, performance reviews and meetings with appropriate client contacts and suppliers.
Our team of industrial designers and engineers use the findings of the research and analysis to begin the technical process, sketching thoughts and ideas to generate initial concepts and possible solutions. When a preferred direction is established, we will produce samples or models for sampling relevant materials in context. We can also prepare preliminary specification documentation, enabling us to carry out procurement strategies and full product cost analysis.
Once the look and feel - and the relevant cost implications - have been agreed, we will proceed with detailed engineering. We have a solid technical resource with experience worldwide, and are able to access technologies from a wide range of industries in Europe, North America and the Far East. Our independence means quick decisions, unbiased solutions and innovative specifications. Proving the developed solutions are fit for purpose and visually effective is key in ensuring client expectations are met and brand fit is achieved. As we carry out prototyping and analysis from an independent perspective, only products and suppliers who meet quality thresholds are engaged.
Sketches and preliminary drawings are developed in 3D to form fully detailed documentation, taking into account lessons learned in prototyping and field-testing. Both top-level performance and production specifications are produced providing the precision required for shop-floor manufacture and successful implementation.
