The Big Apple in Covent Garden
Apple opened the doors to its largest retail store in the world on Saturday 7th August. The store, located in Covent Garden, is its second in central London following the success of the Regent Street outlet, which is officially the busiest in the world.
Covent Garden marks Apple’s growing retail expansion and is their 300th store to open worldwide. It also marks a significant milestone for Endpoint being the 40th store to open in Europe and consequently the 40th store our team has worked on.
Endpoint has now worked with Apple for over 5 years and continues to ensure consistency and quality in the application of its retail signage for key European locations in Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Endpoint is helping to implement a rollout format that embodies Apple’s values, creating a seamless customer experience. We have developed a scalable package that is adapted to suit diverse architectural locations, local fire regulations and language issues. Many of the standard elements had to be modified to suit the Covent Garden store, which is a refurbished grade II-listed building.
We are proud of our long-standing relationship with Apple and to be part of their retail success.

Wow. Must have been a big undertaking. Were you given much creative freedom or did Apple want the retail signage designed exactly to spec?
