A retailer with a range of department stores across the UK, the John Lewis Partnership refreshed their visual identity to help communicate their market leadership position. Working alongside the client and their creative agency we transformed the two dimensional conceptual designs into a comprehensive signage and graphics package in conjunction with an improved customer navigation system.

These were trialled at their Solihull store prior to being applied to the idiosyncrasies of their 24 individual shops nationwide in a fastrack rollout programme. With literally thousands of elements to implement and manage we developed a database tool to control each signs content, position and cost. Through procurement and implementation management we were able to deliver savings of 28% on the £5 million budget.
