Brand implementation & rollout services

Endpoint were tasked with the tight deadline to rebrand 722 Abbey branches and ATM's within 6 months. The move followed global banking giant Santander's decision to rebrand its portfolio of UK banking divisions under the single brand before the end of 2010.

Endpoint's role involved the management of site surveys, brand schemes, procurement, statutory applications, supply chain management and installation supervision. For maximum impact, all 722 branches were revealed over 3 weekends from 11th January 2010. The transformation was kicked off by executive chairman Emilio Botin joined by Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton, unveiling the new Santander fascia in Tottenham Court Road.

Endpoint's pragmatic approach ensured the project was completed on time and budget whilst ensuring quality and completeness. Subsequently, Santander has become the fastest growing brand in absolute terms, increasing its brand value by 136% to become the twelfth most valuable brand in the world, rising from 41st place last year, according to BrandFinance® Global 500.

Following the successful completion of the programme, Endpoint has now secured a further project to survey a number of branches for promotional opportunities.
