BBC: 1908 Olympic Memorial

The new White City Media Village is built on the original site of the White City Stadium and the BBC commissioned a 'Roll of Honour' plaque to commemorate the 1908 Olympics held on this site.
This was unveiled in May 2005, on the occasion of the Centenary of the British Olympic Association, by Comte Jacques Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee and Sir Stephen Redgrave.
